For decades, fans of the beloved 1986 fantasy film Labyrinth have yearned to revisit the whimsical, enchanting world of the Goblin King and his mystical kingdom. Now, their dreams are about to come true, as the original cinematic masterpiece from the legendary Jim Henson is set to be brought to life like never before. For the very first time, admirers of this beloved cult classic will have the chance to witness Henson’s original cinematic vision in an electrifying new format, blending the magic of the silver screen with the raw energy of live music in an unprecedented theatrical event that promises to leave the same lasting impression as the original 1986 film.
“Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: In Concert” will invite audiences to experience an epic evening as the movie is presented on a large HD cinema screen accompanied on stage by a live band performing in sync with Bowie’s original vocals, playing the songs and the score from the soundtrack composed by Bowie and Trevor Jones.
Black Ink Presents, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, is known for reviving iconic films through live symphonic, orchestral, and band performances. Their repertoire includes blockbusters like Batman, Ghostbusters, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Rocketman, and La La Land.
