Ready or Not 2: Here I Come – Ruthless Game Returns, Backed by a Star-Studded Lineup, First Trailer Released

Searchlight Pictures has today dropped the first trailer for Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, serving up a tantalising taste of what to expect from the next chapter in this darkly comic horror franchise. Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the sequel is set to arrive in theaters on 10th April 2026.

Samara Weaving returns as Grace, the survivor of the original film’s lethal game, now facing fresh threats alongside her estranged sister, Faith, played by Kathryn Newton. The insane in the proverbial membrane ensemble cast includes Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Elijah Wood, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, and David Cronenberg.

The screenplay comes from scribes Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, who return to bring that same clever mix of tension and dark humour that defined the first film. Producers Tripp Vinson, James Vanderbilt, Bradley J. Fischer, and William Sherak are back on board this new chapter in the franchise.

With Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett at the helm, it’s a safe bet the sequel will raise the stakes, tighten the suspense, and build on the ruthlessly inventive game that made the original such a blast.
