Quiver Distribution Debuts Darkly Disturbing Trailer for ‘SAINT CLARE’ Starring Bella Thorne

Quiver Distribution has debuted the official trailer for Mitzi Peirone‘s (Braid) bold vigilante chiller, Saint Clare. The film stars Bella Thorne (The DUFF, Tony Kaye’s upcoming The Trainer), alongside Rebecca De Mornay (The Hand That Rocks the Cradle), Frank Whaley (Pulp FictionThe Doors), and Ryan Phillippe (Crash, The Lincoln Lawyer).

Based on Clare at Sixteen, the first novel in a trilogy by Don Roff, Saint Clare follows a reclusive young woman (Thorne) living in a quiet town, haunted by voices that compel her to kill those with dark intentions — and escape unpunished. But when her final act plunges her into a web of corruption, trafficking, and supernatural visions, Clare must confront even darker truths.

The film had its world premiere at the 2024 Taormina Film Festival, followed by screenings at genre and international events including FrightFest, the Oldenburg International Film Festival, and SXSW Sydney. It won Best Narrative Feature and Best Director at last year’s L.A. Independent Women Film Awards.

Directed by Peirone, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Guinevere Turner (American Psycho, Go Fish), Saint Clare features an ensemble cast including Bart Johnson (High School Musical), Joy Rovaris (“Beauty in Black”), Jan Luis Castellanos (“13 Reasons Why,” Uglies), Dylan Flashner (Bandit), and Erica Dasher (“Jane By Design”).

The film is executive produced by Bella Thorne, Cassian Elwes, Tom Culliver, Jere Hausfater, Berry Meyerowitz, Jeff Sackman, Larry Greenberg, and TJ Smith; and produced by Arielle Elwes, Veronica Radaelli, David Chackler, and Joel Michaely.

Saint Clare opens July 18, 2025, in select theaters and on demand, from Quiver Distribution.
