New Trailer for Jordan Peele’s ‘NOPE’ Goes All Out For The Money Shot

Since Universal Pictures launched the first trailer for the visionary Oscar®-winning director, Jordan Peele‘s latest shocker, Nope back in February, expectations have been through the roof, and they’re about to fly even higher with the release of a second trailer.

Ever since setting the bar for modern horror with his sui generis film Get Out, and going on to push the boundaries even farther with the follow-up Us, Peele has everyone on tenterhooks in anticipation of his next project. Well, that time has come, with the filmmaker redefining summer blockbusters as we know them with a new pop nightmare: the expansive horror epic Nope.

The film partners Peele back up with his Get Out star, Oscar® winner Daniel Kaluuya, who, along with Keke Palmer (Hustlers, Alice) and Oscar® nominee Steven Yeun (Minari, Okja), play the residents of a secluded gulch nestled in inland California who bear witness to an unearthly and terrifying discovery.

Directed by Peele, from a screenplay he wrote, Nope also stars Michael Wincott (Hitchcock, Westworld) and Brandon Perea (The OA, American Insurrection). The film is produced by Ian Cooper (Us, Candyman) and Jordan Peele under the Monkeypaw Productions banner.

Universal Pictures has slated Nope for a July 22, 2022 US release, and will be riding into UK cinemas on August 12.
