‘NATTY KNOCKS’ Trailer Reunites Dwight H. Little with a Host of Heyday Horror Icons

Whilst the recent Expendables 4 trailer drop had every ’80s action movie fan on the planet buzzing, Vertical Entertainment‘s first trailer for seasoned film and TV director Dwight H. Little‘s (Halloween 4, The Phantom of the Opera, “Freddy’s Nightmares”) latest venture, Natty Knocks, comes packing a host of household horror names that is sure to leave heyday genre fans reeling with excitement.

Directed by Little, from a script penned by Benjamin Olson (Suffocate), the film takes place on Halloween Eve and follows Charlotte Fountain-Jardim (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) as a small-town babysitter who, along with the kids she is looking after, must fight to survive serial killer Abner Honeywell, who is himself the traumatized son of B-movie horror legend “Natty Knocks”. In terms of the aforementioned A-Z of horror royalty, the film features appearances from Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects), and Danielle Harris (Halloween 4).

Commenting on the film’s release, Vertical SVP of Acquisitions, Tony Piantedosi said, “‘Natty Knocks’ immediately intrigued us given its collaboration of prolific horror icons who defined the genre for decades. The film is a testament to Dwight’s experience as a filmmaker, and we’re pleased that we were able to come on board for the project … We couldn’t be happier that our indie thriller ‘Natty Knocks’ has found a perfect home with Vertical,” the producers added. “Vertical is doing great things with independent distribution and we can’t wait for audiences to see the entertaining movie our talented cast and director have delivered.”

Natty Knocks is slated for a July 21, 2023 Day-and-Date release and to tide you over until then, we’ll leave you with the official trailer below.
