Lionsgate Debuts Mind-Bending Trailer for Supernatural Schocker ‘BLACKWATER LANE’ Starring Minka Kelly

Lionsgate has debuted the official trailer for Jeff Celentano’s (Gunshy, Primary Suspect) supernatural thriller Blackwater Lane starring Minka Kelly (Night Hunter, The Roommate),  Maggie Grace (“Fear the Walking Dead,” Taken, “Lost”), and Dermot Mulroney (Scream VI, Insidious: Chapter 3).

Directed by Celentano, from a script written by Elizabeth Fowler, the film is based on the successful New York Times bestselling novel ‘The Breakdown’ by B.A. Paris.

As per the official synopsis, the film centers on Cass (Kelly) who, after witnessing a tragedy on a dangerous country road, is visited by a ghostly presence and begins to question her sanity. As these otherworldly experiences intensify, Cass is driven closer to the brink until she begins to assemble the pieces of a horrific plot against her.

Blackwater Lane also stars Alan Calton and Natalie Simpson.

The film is produced by Shaun Sanghani (House of Darkness, Gone in the Night), Lucinda Rhodes Thakrar (When the Screaming Starts, Predator: Dark Ages, Elizabeth Fowler (Official Secrets, All the Devil’s Men), and Warren Ostergard (Voices from the Stone, Fear Clinic).

Blackwater Lane will release in theaters and Digital/On Demand on June 21st, 2024. In the meantime, we’ll leave you with the film’s mind-bending trailer.
