The Movie Partnership has announced that Kyra Sedgwick‘s Space Oddity will be available on digital download from 6 November.
Directed by Sedgwick, from a script penned by Rebecca Banner (Spirit), the film centres on Alex (Kyle Allen – West Side Story), a young man who gives up on Earth and decides to abandon everything for a one-way mission to Mars. But just as he is about to do so, an unanticipated romance forces him to make a choice between an uncertain journey to the stars or an even more uncertain journey of the heart.
Allen is joined by fellow cast members Alexandra Shipp (X-Men: Apocalypse & Dark Phoenix, Barbie), Madeline Brewer (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Carrie Preston (“True Blood”), Simon Helberg (“The Big Bang Theory”), Alfre Woodard (Marvel’s “Luke Cage”) & Kevin Bacon (Footloose, Tremors & X-Men: First Class).
