KEEPER: Osgood Perkins Extends His Horror Streak With Eerie New Cabin Horror Teaser

After the unnerving one-two punch of Longlegs and the Stephen King adaptation The Monkey, Osgood Perkins is coming for your soul again with another dark trip: Keeper — and NEON has just released the first teaser trailer online — which originally debuted at the end of The Monkey.

Keeper stars Tatiana Maslany (The Monkey, “Orphan Black”) and Rossif Sutherland (Possessor, “Murder in a Small Town”) as a couple trying to escape the chaos of everyday life for a cozy, romantic getaway in a remote cabin in the woods. But, when Malcolm (Sutherland) has to suddenly bail back to the city, Liz (Maslany) is left all alone, and that’s when the rot sets in. What follows is a descent into isolation, paranoia, and something far more ancient and evil than just cabin fever.

The film was written by Nick Lepard (Dangerous Animals) and produced by Chris Ferguson and Jesse Savath for Oddfellows. Executive producers include Tatiana Maslany, Marlaina Mah (Oddfellows), Noah Segal and Laurie May (Elevation Pictures), Brian Kavanaugh Jones, Fred Berger, Peter Micelli (Range Media Partners), John Hegeman and Vince Totino (Wayward Entertainment), and Bonner Bellew (Welcome Villain).

NEON, clearly thirsty for more blood after the buzz around Longlegs, acquired Keeper in a preemptive deal last May. Around the same time, Perkins and producer Ferguson officially birthed their new banner Phobos, backed by NEON and wrapped in a first-look deal.

The film is slated for release on November 14, 2025, with NEON handling the U.S. distribution and Elevation Pictures set to release it in Canada.
