‘I Wish You All The Best’ Trailer Drops: Tommy Dorfman’s Trailblazing Teen Drama Lands This November

Lionsgate has unveiled the first official trailer for I Wish You All the Best — a refreshingly modern coming-of-age film that’s about to hit audiences squarely in the feels. Written and directed by “13 Reasons Why” alum Tommy Dorfman, and based on the beloved bestselling novel by Mason Deaver, the film charts a heartfelt journey of identity, isolation, and radical self-love.

The story follows Ben, a nonbinary high schooler (Corey FogelmanisMa, “My Life with the Walter Boys”), who is kicked out of their home after coming out to their parents. With nowhere else to go, Ben ends up living with their estranged older sister (Alexandra DaddarioNight Hunter, “The White Lotus”) and her husband (Cole SprouseLisa Frankenstein, “Riverdale”).

Cue a new school, new people, and the kind of found-family vibes that make indie teen dramas sing. Lena Dunham (Treasure, “Girls”) appears as a supportive eccentric art teacher, and Miles Gutierrez-Riley (Smile 2, “The Wilds”) as the compassionate classmate who might just help Ben believe in the world again. Amy Landecker (“For Worse,” “Your Honor”) also features, rounding out a cast.

Produced by Matt Kaplan and Tommy Dorfman, I Wish You All The Best will provide a heartfelt ode to the experiences of nonbinary teens when it releases in theaters this November 7, 2025.
