Roadside Attractions and Saban Films have released the first trailer for Fuze, a high-stakes ensemble heist thriller from director David Mackenzie (Starred Up, Hell or High Water).
Set in present-day London, the film centers on a crisis triggered when an unexploded World War II bomb is uncovered at a crowded construction site. The discovery forces authorities to evacuate a large section of the city, creating widespread disruption and tension. As emergency services scramble to secure the area, a separate and carefully orchestrated criminal plan begins to unfold under the cover of the evacuation.
The film follows a group of characters whose paths intersect during the unfolding emergency, as law enforcement and officials race to manage the threat posed by the bomb. At the same time, a calculated heist operation takes advantage of the chaos, pushing the situation in unexpected directions as allegiances shift and moral lines become increasingly blurred.
Fuze features an ensemble cast led by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Theo James, Sam Worthington, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw. Supporting roles are played by Saffron Hocking and Elham Ehsas. The screenplay was written by Ben Hopkins.
Production on the thriller was overseen by Sébastien Raybaud, Callum Grant, David Mackenzie, and Gillian Berrie, who serve as producers on the project.
The film first premiered on 5 September 2025 at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival, where it screened as part of the festival’s Gala Presentations section. Distribution for the United Kingdom and Ireland will be handled by Sky Cinema, which has scheduled the theatrical release in those territories for April 3, 2026.
North American rights were acquired by Roadside Attractions and Saban Films in November, with the companies planning a April 24, 2026 wide U.S. theatrical release.
