First Trailer for Sony Pictures’ Impending Shocker ‘TAROT’ Reveals The Horrors On the Cards

Sony Pictures has today dealt out the first official trailer for Spenser Cohen & Anna Halberg’s (“Classified”) mystic shocker Tarot based on Nicholas Adams’ 1992 eponymous novel.

Written and directed by Cohen & Halberg, and starring Harriet Slater (Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny), Adain Bradley (Wrong Turn), Avantika (Mean Girls), Jacob Batalon (the latest Spider-Man franchise), and Olwen Fouéré (Sunrise), the film follows a group of friends who recklessly violate the sacred rule of Tarot readings – never use someone else’s deck. As a result, they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings.

Tarot is slated for a May 10, 2024 release date and we’ll leave to gety comfy, lighy a candle or two and enjoy the first trailer for the film.

Tarot’s allure lies in its ability to weave mystery and meaning into the fabric of everyday life. The film Tarot captures this intrigue, delving into the darker side of meddling with forces beyond understanding. The cards are more than just tools for divination; they are portals to possibilities, and as the story shows, a reckless hand can turn curiosity into chaos. This cautionary tale is a reminder of the respect and intention one must bring to tarot readings—an acknowledgment of the thin veil separating the seen and the unseen.

Watching the film makes you think about the future and powerful omens, like when a dragonfly visits you, believed to bring good fortune and a message of transformation. Just as omens spark reflection, tarot readings guide us to consider our choices and their consequences. Whether drawing cards to seek guidance or simply observing the signs around us, there’s a powerful magic in the interplay between intention and intuition, a theme the film explores with thrilling intensity.
