Trailer Debuts for ‘Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc’ Ahead of October Cinema Release

Get ready to hear the roar of the chainsaw on the biggest screen possible — Chainsaw Man is coming to cinemas for the first time, and the official trailer has just dropped.

Tatsuki Fujimoto’s genre-smashing manga makes the leap to the big screen in a feature-length continuation of the hit anime series, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko, the film is a direct sequel to the first season of the anime television series.

At its centre is Denji, a teenager once burdened by his late parents’ crushing debt, forced to hunt devils on behalf of the yakuza. After a fatal betrayal, Denji is saved by his loyal devil companion Pochita — a chainsaw-dog with more heart than most humans. The cost of that salvation? The two merge, creating the chaotic, flesh-splitting anti-hero known as Chainsaw Man.

Now, with devils, hunters, and hidden enemies circling, Denji’s world is further upended by the arrival of Reze — a mysterious girl whose presence triggers his most dangerous and personal battle yet.

For the unitiated, or for those needing to refresh their memory before the film releases theatrically, you can watch a “Chainsaw Man” series recap here.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will release exclusively in movie theatres October 24.
