Celebrate Stranger Things Day Behind the Curtain of ‘STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW’

The Stranger Things YouTube channel has today revealed an exclusive behind the scenes look at the forthcoming Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions stage production of “Stranger Things: The First Shadow”.

From Kate Trefry, and directed by Stephen Daldry, with co-direction by Justin Martin, and based on an original story by the Duffer Brothers, the stage production will bring the world of “Stranger Things” to life in an unprecedented way, takeing audiences right back to a time before the world turned upside down – and may hold the key to the end. The play will take place in Hawkins in 1959: a regular town with regular worries. Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take his radio show seriously and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get the hell  out of town. When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family finds that a fresh start isn’t so easy…  and the shadows of the past have a very long reach.
