By Order of the Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man Unveils First Poster and Release Dates

Netflix has today lifted the curtain on the long-awaited return to Small Heath, revealing the title, poster, and release plan for the forthcoming “Peaky Blinders” feature film, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. Marking a new chapter for the franchise, the film arrives in select cinemas on Friday, 6 March 2026, ahead of its global streaming debut on Friday, 20 March 2026.

Cillian Murphy steps back into the shadows as Tommy Shelby – older, weathered, yet no less commanding. Directed by Tom Harper and written by series creator Steven Knight, this is a reunion of voices that helped shape the show’s unmistakable blend of grit, melancholy, and fatalistic swagger. The cast brings together an impressive ensemble including Rebecca Ferguson (Dune, A House of Dynamite), Tim Roth (Reservoir Dogs, The Hateful Eight), Sophie Rundle (After the Flood, Gentleman Jack), Barry Keoghan (Saltburn, The Banshees of Inisherin), and Stephen Graham (“Adolescence,” Boiling Point).

Set in Birmingham, 1940, the story drags Tommy out of self-imposed exile and into the gathering storm of the Second World War. The posters released today hint at a man caught between the myth he’s created and the reckoning he can no longer outrun. With the country’s fate entangled with that of the Shelby family, Tommy is forced to confront the fractures within himself – deciding whether to preserve the legacy he built or burn it down before the world does it for him.

Murphy, speaking to Netflix, offered a typically understated nod to the weight of returning to the role: “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me. It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans.”
