Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2025: Batch #19

Put your inbox on snooze and your headphones on blast — it’s time for Noteworthy Nods, your weekly fix of fresh tracks making the rounds in our office and threatening to derail our productivity in the best possible way.

Last week, we had heaters from the likes of Seb LowePanic ShackShallow HoneyCivic GreenPamphlets, and Caamp . But this week’s line-up? Just as tasty.

Here’s just a glimpse of some of the tracks on rotation:

Red Rum Club – “Crush, TX”

The Liverpool outfit hit the gas with “Crush, TX”, dripping in desert-dream swagger. Classic Red Rum, but with a hint of heatstroke.

Muse – “Unravelling”

“Unravelling” finds Muse pulling at the threads of their own sound — mixing tight, punchy electronics with that familiar doomsday rock energy. Moody, muscular, unmistakably Bellamy.

Duncan Lloyd – “Rituals”

A quietly striking one from Maxïmo Park’s Duncan Lloyd. “Rituals” moves with a kind of hushed urgency — subtle at first, but it sticks with you.

Miles Kane – “Love is Cruel”

“Love is Cruel” sees Kane back in his groove, channelling retro heartbreak with a glam-rock wink. A sharp, confident slice of what’s to come on Sunlight in the Shadows.

Suede – “Antidepressants”

Suede keep the mood simmering with another glimpse of Antidepressants. Lush, theatrical, and wrapped in that signature bittersweet drama they do so well.

Noteworthy Nods is all about spotlighting what’s next, not just who’s already made it. Got a new artist we need to hear? Let us know. Hit us up on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook — shout out your faves, and help give a boost to the bands deserving of more.

Whether you’re in the mood to zone out or turn up, we’re sure you’ll find something to soundtrack your weekend.

So hit play, turn it up, and we’ll catch you next week with more picks worth discovering.

Noteworthy also comes with a side of face time — our weekly videocast interviews spotlight the artists we reckon you’ll be obsessing over in no time (if you aren’t already).
