Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2024 – Batch 9

Another Thursday has come around, bringing with it a fresh crop of great new tunes to feast your ears on. Streaming services and reader recommendations alike have overloaded our plates with more sizzling bangers than we can digest. As always, we can’t thank you enough for all the suggestions that make our weekly Noteworthy Nods playlist possible.

Last week’s picks included brand-new gems from the likes of from Basht., Camens, James, The K’s, The Rambling Club, Dead Pony, and Michael Gallagher. Check out that full playlist here if you missed it.

And today’s curated cuts include new tunes from the likes of Jekyll, The Lilac Hour, The Ruby Tuesdays, The Rah’s, SAMSARA., Teenage Dads, The Native, SPIN KLASS, and so many more.

We always appreciate when our readers share new music discoveries with us. Send any recommendations our way on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. You can also slide into Howard Gorman’s DMs on Twitter – his inbox is open for your suggestions.

Supporting indie artists is what we’re all about here. Tag them, share their posts, add their songs to your playlists. However you can help amplify their music, we know they’ll appreciate the boost from our devoted readers!

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes weekly videocast interviews featuring musical talent we hope are either already or, about to become your new favorite artists. You can watch/rewatch all previous episodes via the video playlist (here) featuring the likes of CastShambolics, Shed Seven, Turin BrakesEmbraceRed Rum ClubThe K’sThe SherlocksThe Slow Readers ClubStanleysThe NativeThe Clause, and many more.
