Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2023 – Batch 14

That time of the week has come around again, when we bring you another instalment of “Noteworthy Nods”: Our weekly compilation of brand-new bangers that we’ve had on repeat play since we first heard them.

Highlights from last week included tracks from artists such as ExtranautsIan BrownCasino ClubHeavenwardPylon PoetsVivas and Eurekas (which you can still check out over here) and today’s playlist features brand new releases from the likes of The Rosadocs, Danny Mellin, Dirty Nice, The Goa Express, Mumble Tide, The Merchants and M60, as well as the more than welcome return of both Blur and The Coral who both surprised us this week with news of incoming albums.

We really can’t stress enough just how imporetant it is to raise some extra noise, expecially when it comes to emerging talent, so we urge you to share your appreciation for anything that strikes a chord with you here. All it takes is a few seconds to spread the word and it won’t cost you a penny, but is worth it’s weight in gold to all the new artists out there. And please don’t stop those recommendations coming via  InstagramFacebook, or Twitter. You can also contact Howard Gorman, who curates CinemaChords’ Nods, directly on Twitter &/or Instagram.

So, without further ado, we’ll leave you to enjoy what you came here for: Round 14 of 2023’s Noteworthy Nods:

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes weekly videocast interviews featuring musical talent we hope are either already or, about to become your new favorite artists. You can watch/rewatch all previous episodes via the video playlist below featuring the likes of Turin BrakesEmbraceThe SherlocksStanleysThe K’sThe NativeThe Clause, and many more.

It’s time to sign off but don’t be a stranger! Please do send any recommendations or track submissions to us over on Twitter and Instagram. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy the tracks we’ve picked out for you this week.
