Aaron Eckhart Returns to the Beat in ‘Muzzle: City of Wolves’ – First Trailer Howls for Justice

Aaron Eckhart is back on four-pawed patrol in the trailer for Muzzle: City of Wolves, the surprise sequel to 2023’s gritty K-9 crime thriller Muzzle. Set for a US theatrical release on November 14, 2025 via RLJE Films, the new film looks more than determined to take an even bigger bite out of the action genre this time around.

Directed once again by John Stalberg Jr. (Bad Hombres, Crypto), the film sees Eckhart reprise his role as Jake Rosser, a former K-9 officer wrestling with PTSD and clinging to some semblance of family calm. That peace doesn’t stand a chance. When a masked gang led by a shadowy figure known only as Totec comes crashing into Rosser’s quiet life, his battle – both emotional and ballistic – reignites.

Argos, a new K-9 partner with a no-nonsense snarl, joins Rosser on the hunt for those responsible. Together they claw through the crime-soaked underworld, unearthing drug rings, corrupt officials and, inevitably, Rosser’s lingering trauma.

Joining Eckhart are Karl Thaning, Nicole Fortuin and Dylan Williams, with a script from Jacob Michael King. Stalberg Jr. produces under his Slow Burn banner, whilst David Frigerio produces for Broken Open Pictures and Highland Film Group, with executive producers including Tim O’Hair and RuthAnne Frigerio, Carlyle Eubank, David Guglielmo and Dallas Sonnier.

Expect close combat, canine heroics and a few emotional bruises along the way when the film releases in theaters this November 14.
