Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for Vicious, the forthcoming psychological thriller from Bryan Bertino (The Strangers, The Dark and the Wicked), which arrives on Paramount+ and digital platforms on 10 October 2025.
The film centres on Polly (Dakota Fanning), who receives a mysterious box one late night. The box comes with a simple but unsettling instruction: place inside three things—something you need, something you hate, and something you love. What starts as a peculiar ritual quickly turns into a disturbing journey through shifting realities, where time and memory refuse to behave as expected.
The supporting cast includes Kathryn Hunter, Mary McCormack, and Rachel Blanchard.
Executive producers Melinda Whitaker and Shane Boucher oversee the project, with Richard Suckle and Bertino himself producing. The film is produced by Atlas Independent in association with Paramount.
Vicious streams on Paramount+ and will be available to purchase digitally from 10 October 2025.
