Tyler Rake Out of the Frying Pan and Into the Fire in Full Official Trailer for Direct Sequel ‘EXTRACTION 2’

Netflix has just dropped the full offiial trailer for Extraction 2 which sees Chris Hemsworth dive back into the thick of the action as Tyler Rake, the Australian black-ops merc who made it out alive by the skin of this teeth in the first film.

Reunited with director Sam Hargrave, with Joe and Anthony Russo’s AGBO producing and Joe Russo writing, Rake finds himself tasked with yet another deadly mission that invovles rescuing the battered family of a ruthless Georgian gangster from the prison where they are being held.

Golshifteh Farahani reprises her role from the first film, with Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt and Tinatin Dalakishvili co-starring.

Extraction 2 is a direct sequel to the original film based on the graphic novel “City” by Ande Parks, from a story by Ande Parks, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, with illustrations by Fernando Leon Gonzalez. The sequel is produced by Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Otstot, Chris Hemsworth, Patrick Newall and Sam Hargrave, with Jake Aust, Benjamin Grayson, Steven Scavelli, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely serving as exec producers.

We’ll leave you to enjoy a taste of the action ahead of the film’s gloabl launch on Netflix this coming 16 June, 2023. And it goes without saying, that now is a better a time than any to watch for the first time, or revisit the first movie on Netflix.
