The Spenglers Return to Where Three Eccentric Parapsychologists Set Up Shop in new ‘GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE” Trailer

It’s time to call them all this time as Sony Pictures debuts a brand new trailer for Gil Kenan‘s (Monster House, “Scream”) highly-anticipated tentpole sequel Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.

Directed by Kenan, from a script he co-wrote with Jason Reitmen, the film takes the Spengler family back to where everything started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

As you can imagine, based on the synopsis, bringing back the original team, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire features a huge ensemble cast including Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts.

The film is produced by Ivan Reitman, Jason Reitman and Jason Blumenfeld and executive produced by Dan Aykroyd, JoAnn Perritano, Amie Karp, Eric Reich, and Erica Mills.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will release exclusively in cinemas this March 22 and in the meantime, we’ll leave you with the latest trailer to tease just how the combined Ghostbusting team deal with a new army of ghosts threatening New York…
