The Rifles are celebrating two decades together with an anniversary campaign, kicking things off with a reissue of their debut album No Love Lost. The 20th Anniversary Edition will drop September 25, including the album’s first-ever vinyl pressing.
Originally released in 2006 and produced by Ian Broudie, the album featured hits such as “Local Boy,” “Peace & Quiet,” and “Robin Hood,” and established a following that has remained as strong as ever over the past two decades.
The anniversary edition will be available across CD, digital and three vinyl formats: neon green marble, pink-and-black split, and pink. The physical editions will include two never-before-released tracks from the band’s original recording sessions, as well as alternative artwork. The CD version will also feature a track-by-track commentary by the band. Purchases via the group’s official store will include a signed print. The release is available to pre-order here.
Joel Stoker, the lead vocalist and guitarist, reflected on their early days, saying, “Thinking back to our early twenties, where it all started, and not a care in the world. Now older, and none the wiser with 20 years spent on our journey together, we’re going back to where it all started! We look forward to seeing some new and (older!) familiar faces.”
To celebrate the reissue, they’re hitting the road this November for a UK anniversary tour. They’ll play No Love Lost in its entirety, along with a mix of other fan favorites. If you pre-order the album, you’ll get early access to tickets, which will go on general sale at 10 a.m. on March 27. Remaining tickets will then become available here.
The tour dates are as follows:
Nov. 5 – Leeds, Beckett University
Nov. 6 – Newcastle, The Grove
Nov. 7 – Glasgow, Oran Mor
