The Molotovs Announce 22-Date UK Tour in Support of Debut Album ‘Wasted On Youth’

Sibling duo The Molotovs have announced an extensive 22-date UK tour in support of their debut album, Wasted On Youth, which is set for release on January 30, 2026. Matthew (19) and Issey Cartlidge (17) will play a series of independent venues across the country, from Glasgow to Liverpool, bringing their new songs directly to fans. Tickets are available HERE.

The announcement follows their sold-out headline show at London’s Electric Ballroom in October, the band’s largest UK performance to date. At that point, they had only released two singles but filled the 1,500-capacity venue. The show earned five stars from Music News for its “youth, passion and a refusal to concede to apathy,” while Punk In Focus have dubbed the duo “the future of British rock.”

The Molotovs’ momentum extends beyond the UK. Iggy Pop personally selected them to support his U.S. shows earlier this year, and they are set to join YUNGBLUD on his upcoming arena tour. Recent single, ‘Rhythm Of Yourself,’ which we recently showcased in our weekly spotlight, Noteworthy Nods, became their third consecutive Top 3 entry on the physical charts.

For the Cartlidges, the tour is as much about supporting independent venues as it is about sharing their music. Matthew Cartlidge said:

“We want to make sure we’re playing all of those vital independent stages that keep new talent coming through. We’re doing this to stand with grassroots venues that help keep music alive, and formed an intrinsic part of the band’s origins.”
