STUDIOCANAL and The Picture Company have debuted the official trailer for Alberto Corredor’s supernatural horror-thriller Baghead, from the producers of IT and Barbarian.
Directed by Alberto Corredor and adapted from the eponymous 2017 festival favourite short film, Baghead stars Freya Allen (“The Witcher”) and Jeremy Irvine (War Horse). The film centres on a young woman (Allen) who, following the death of her father, inherits a run-down pub and discovers a dark secret within its basement – Baghead – a shapeshifting creature that will let you speak to lost loved ones, but not without consequence.
The cast is rounded out with Ruby Barker (“Bridgerton”), Peter Mullan (Top of the Lake), Saffron Burrows (“You“) and Julika Jenkins (“Dark”).
BAGHEAD is produced by STUDIOCANAL and The Picture Company and will be released in UK and Irish cinemas in 2024.
