It’s Joe Keery and Camila Morrone Against The Whole Wide World in Romantic Heist Thriller ‘MARMALADE’

Brainstorm Media and Signature Entertainment have today unleashed the first official trailer for actor-turned writer and director Keir O’Donnell‘s edge-of-the-seat crime-tinged romance tale Marmalade.

Directed by O’Donnell, from a script he penned himself, the film follows recently incarcerated Baron (Joe Keery – “Stranger Things”, Spree) who strikes up a friendship with cellmate Otis (Aldis HodgeBlack Adam, The Invisible Man), a man with a well-versed history of prison breaks. As the pair hatch an escape plan together, Baron recalls the story of how he met Marmalade (Camila Morrone – “Daisy Jones & The Six”, Mickey and the Bear), the love of his life, and their “Bonnie and Clyde” style scheme to rob a bank in order to care for his sick mother and give the couple the life they’ve always dreamed of.

Marmalade is produced by Sarah Gabriel and Marc Goldberg for Signature Films, James Harris and Mark Lane for Tea Shop, Jason Shapiro and Jason Shapiro of US management company Silver Lining Entertainment. Slated to release in Theaters & On Demand this February 9, 2024, we’ll leave you with the aforementioned trailer featuring some of the creepiest papier machier masks we’ve seen in heist movie history.
