It Was Only ‘A Matter Of Time’ Before Shed Seven Returned To the Fore With Brand-New Single And LP Release Date

Following the success of their brilliant fifth studio album, 2017’s “Instant Pleasures,” it was only a matter of time before York-based rockers, Shed Seven would knock us off our feet with with new material and that time has come and it’s certainly been more than worth the wait.

The band has just announced that their new long player, which they recently recorded in Spain with producer Martin ‘Youth’ Glover – will be releasing in January 2024 and titled “A Matter of Time”. And not only that, to celebrate the news, they have dropped the first harbinger of what’s to come in the form of brand-new single “Kissing California.”

When they wrapped recording at the end of February the band had the following to say: “Our final day in the studio here in Spain and what a journey this record has been so far. Sure you can tell by all the updates just how excited we all are about the new music, we all believe we’re making something very special here, the band is on fire and we’ve truly captured that joyous spirit within these songs. Next stop is London Town to finish the album off before it gets mixed, expected release date is later this year…preceded by a couple of singles. Massive thanks to our producer Martin ‘Youth’ Glover for pushing us to new summits and for helping us find new depths in both our songwriting and musicianship.”

You can pre-order the album from the official store which will give you with access to pre-sale tickets for the band’s October UK Tour here. Be sure to join the Shed Seven mailing list here to keep up with all they’ve got to share in the run up to the release of the much-anticipated new album.
