Explosive American Heist Trailer Lands!

Hayden Christensen (Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith) and Adrien Brody (The Pianist) star as brothers who share a troubled past in this new American-Russian action movie. Brody plays the troubled Frankie who is fresh out of jail after having taken the rap for a crime which his brother James was also guilty of. Now that he is out James is trying to play the good guy and settle down with his girlfriend but Frankie doesn’t have any money or a place to go… and James owes him everything. Soon then Frankie coerces James to join him on one last job and before they know it they are stuck in the middle of a bank robbery and we guess things don’t go quite to plan….

There’s no doubt that Adrien Brody is one of the finest actors around today but what makes him particularly interesting is the sheer range of work he undertakes. He has played everything from the Wladyslaw Szpilman inThe Pianist  to Dali in Midnight in Paris and he even took the lead Arnie-esque role in Predators. So it comes as no surprise to see him continue to tackle a range of characters such as Frankie in American Heist. His role in this action flick is what we here at Cinema Chords are most excited about seeing, coupled with the fact that Christensen is rumored to be on top form here as well.

Alongside Hayden Christensen and Adrien Brody American Heist stars Jordana Brewster, Akon, Aaron V. Williamson and Divine Prince Ty Emmecca. There is no UK release date set yet but we will be sure to let you know as soon as we hear anything!

So what do you think? Will you be watching American Heist when it comes out? Make sure you catch the trailer below and then let us know!
