Aimee Lou Wood Vies to Reclaim Her Throne in Dark Age Britain Comedy Adventure ‘SEIZE THEM!’

Entertainment Film Distributors has just debuted Curtis Vowell‘s (Baby Done) comedy road movie set in Dark Age Britain, Seize Them!

Helmed by Vowell, from a script penned by Andy Riley (Gnomeo & Juliet, The Boy in the Dress) , Seize Them! brims with warmth, humour and swordfights as it centres on Queen Dagan (Aimee Lou Wood – Living, “Sex Education”), an egotistical yet lonely monarch, whose reign is toppled by the charismatic Humble Joan (Nicola Coughlan – Barbie, “Bridgerton”) and the treacherous Leofwine (Jessica Hynes – Shaun of the Dead, Paddington 2). Now a fugitive with a hefty bounty on her head, the Queen embarks on a quest to regain the throne with the help of Shulmay (Lolly Adefope – Saltburn, “Ghosts”), a castle worker with mysterious motives, and Bobik (Nick Frost – Shaun of the Dead, Fighting with My Family), a shit shoveler who dreams of a grander life. Her new friends and wild adventures make her question the kind of Queen she wants to be.

The film also features James Acaster (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire), Paul Kaye (“Game of Thrones”, “The Stranger”) and John Macmillan (“The Burning Girls”, “One Day”).

Seize Them! opens in UK & Irish cinemas this 5th APRIL 2024 and in the meantime, we’ll leave you to enjoy a right royal laugh with the first official trailer for the film.
