Ti West is Dying to Show us a Good Time in A24’s “X”

Whilst filmmaker Ti West first made a name for himself in the horror genre, the filmmaker branched out somewhat after 2013’s The Sacrament, when he went on to direct Ethan Hawke in the Western Thriller, In a Valley of Violence. Since then, he’s dabbled in a wide range of TV shows, including “Wayward Pines, “The Exorcist” and “Them” but things have now come circle as A24 has now announced that his latest horror feature, X will release in theatres this coming March 18.

From a screenplay penned by West, and starring Mia Goth, Jenna Ortega, Brittany Snow, and Scott Mescudi, X takes place in 1979, when a group of young filmmakers set out to make an adult film in rural Texas. But, when their reclusive, elderly hosts catch them in the act, the cast find themselves fighting for their lives.

We couldn’t be more excited for a new feature length chiller from West, and even more so given that it’s about to drop in a matter of weeks. Until then, we’ll leave you with the first official trailer.
