Rousing Trailer for TAKE THAT Stage Musical Adaptation ‘GREATEST DAYS’ Guaranteed to Relight Your Fire

Elysian Film Group has today debuted the new trailer and artwork for Greatest Days, the big screen adaptation of Take That‘s hugely successful feel-good stage musical The Band.

The film will release in the UK and ROI cinemas on Friday 16th June, with advance screenings on Thursday 15th June. As previously announced, Take That will also be attending a very special premiere event in London on Thursday 15th June, but what hadn’t been announced until now is that the band will also be performing an exclusive live event that audiences will be able to enjoy exclusively in cinemas nationwide at premiere previews taking place on the same night.

Directed by Coky Giedroyc (How to Build a Girl) from a script written by Tim Firth (Calendar Girls), Greatest Days centres on five best friends who have the night of their lives when they go to see their favourite boy band in concert. Twenty-five years later, their lives have changed in many ways as they reunite for one more epic show by their beloved band, to rekindle their friendship and discover that their greatest days may still be ahead of them.

The star-studded ensemble cast includes Aisling Bea (This Way Up), Alice Lowe (Black Mirror), Jayde Adams (The Outlaws), Amaka Okafor (The Responder) and Marc Wootton (Nativity!), Lara McDonnell (Belfast), Jessie Mae Alonzo (Little Joe), Nandi Hudson (Army of Thieves), Carragon Guest, Eliza Dobson, Aaron Bryan (The Little Mermaid), Joshua Jung (Emma Bunton – Tour), Dalvin Cory (Wicked), Mark Samaras (Swan Lake), and Mervin Noronha (What’s Love Got to Do with It?).

The film is produced by Danny Perkins, Kate Solomon, Jane Hooks, Karl Spoerri and Viviana Vezzani, with Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald serving as executive producers.
