‘ROSARIO’ Trailer: Occult Secrets & Generational Horror – In Theaters May 2025

The unsettling discovery of occult artifacts within a family’s history forms the core of Felipe VargasRosario, as revealed in its newly released official trailer. The trailer hints at a deeply unsettling exploration of generational secrets, setting the stage for its nationwide theatrical release on May 2, 2025.

Rosario is directed by Vargas, with a screenplay by Alan Trezza (Burying the Ex, We Summon the Darkness), and features Emeraude Toubia (“Shadowhunters,” With Love) in the lead role of Rosario Fuentes, a Wall Street stockbroker. The ensemble cast also includes David Dastmalchian (Late Night with the Devil, The Last Voyage of the Demeter), Paul Ben-Victor, José Zúñiga, Diana Lein, and Emilia Faucher.

When Rosario Fuentes returns to her grandmother’s apartment, she steps into a terrifying inheritance. The discovery of a hidden chamber, filled with the tools of dark rituals, reveals a family history steeped in the occult. As supernatural forces close in, Rosario must confront the chilling truth about her lineage and the sacrifices that bind her to a horrifying past
