Robbie Williams’ ‘BETTER MAN’ Biopic Entertains Us with Electrifyingly Demented New Trailer

Entertainment Film Distributors have just dropped a new trailer for for Michael Gracey‘s biopic Better Man, which offers a dazzling, poignant, and singular portrait of British pop icon Robbie Williams.

Gracey, the acclaimed director known for his visually stunning and emotionally resonant films like The Greatest Showman, is the ideal choice to bring the complex life story of Williams to the big screen. In his upcoming film Better Man, Gracey will explore the incredible highs and debilitating lows that come with the territory of superstardom, drawing inspiration from Williams’ life and personal perspective.

Starring Williams, alongside Jonno Davies (“Hunters”, Kingsman: The Secret Service), this fantastical musical will be filled with reimagined versions of Williams’ most beloved hits and most unforgettable live performances, each one expertly woven into a captivating narrative with the implementation of spectacular set pieces and stunning visual effects created by the Academy Award® winning team at Weta FX (AvatarLord of the Rings trilogy).

The extensive ensemble cast also includes BAFTA® Award winner Steve Pemberton (Inside No. 9, “Killing Eve”), BAFTA® nominee Alison Steadman (The Kings ManRoald & Beatrix: The Tail of the Curious Mouse), Damon Herriman (Judy & Punch, “The Tourist”), Kate Mulvany (“Hunters”, Elvis), Anthony Hayes (War MachineThe Light Between Oceans), Tom Budge (“Bloom”, “Gallipoli”), and Raechelle Banno (“Home and Away”, The “Ruby Landry” Saga). The film also stars Jake Simmance (“Anatomy Of A Scandal”) as Gary Barlow, Liam Head as Howard Donald, Chase Vollenweider as Jason Orange and Jesse Hyde as Mark Owen.

Better Man releases in UK and Irish cinemas through Entertainment Film Distributors this 26th December, 2024.
