Apple TV+ has today unveiled the highly anticipated trailer and key art for its new conspiracy thriller, “Prime Target.” Starring SAG Award winner Leo Woodall (“The White Lotus”, “One Day”) and rising star Quintessa Swindell (Black Adam, “In Treatment”), this eight-episode drama promises to deliver suspense and intrigue, making it a must-watch for thriller fans.
The series, which will debut globally on January 22 with its first two episodes, is created by award-winning writer Steve Thompson, known for his work on “Sherlock” and “Vienna Blood.” Thompson not only pens the drama but also serves as an exec. producer. Produced by New Regency and Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions, “Prime Target” boasts an all-star team behind it, with Scott himself also exec. producing. The show will follow a weekly release schedule, with new episodes premiering every Wednesday through March 5.

In “Prime Target,” Woodall portrays Edward Brooks, a brilliant young math postgraduate on the brink of a major breakthrough. If he can crack the pattern in prime numbers, he will unlock the key to every computer in the world. But Edward soon realizes that his groundbreaking discovery is not only at risk – it’s under attack by an unseen enemy. As the conspiracy unfolds, Edward finds an unlikely ally in NSA agent Taylah Sanders, played by Swindell, who is assigned to monitor mathematicians’ behavior. Together, they uncover a chilling conspiracy that puts both of their lives in danger.
Joining Woodall and Swindell in the cast are a slew of acclaimed actors, including Academy Award nominee Stephen Rea (The Crying Game), BAFTA Award winners David Morrissey (“Sherwood,” “The Walking Dead”) and Sidse Babett Knudsen (“Borgen”), Emmy Award winner Martha Plimpton (“The Regime”), and SAG Award nominee Jason Flemyng (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button). Additional notable cast members include BAFTA Award nominee Harry Lloyd (“Game of Thrones”), Ali Suliman (“Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan”), Fra Fee (Rebel Moon), and Joseph Mydell (The Eternal Daughter).
