MI5’s Dysfunctional Dumping Ground Department Returns in Trailer for Fourth Season of Apple’s “SLOW HORSES”

The highly anticipated fourth season of the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series “Slow Horses” has just received its first official trailer, whetting the appetite of fans eagerly awaiting the continued adventures of the eccentric, dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents working in the dismal, unglamorous Slough House HQ.

Academy Award winner Gary Oldman leads the six-episode fourth season, which adapts Mick Herron’s “Spook Street” – the fourth novel in his acclaimed “Slough House” spy series that won the CWA Gold Dagger Award. The season opens with a bombing that exposes personal secrets and further destabilizes the already precarious world of Slough House.

Alongside Oldman, the returning ensemble cast also includes Academy Award-nominee Kristin Scott Thomas, BAFTA Scotland Award-winner Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Rosalind Eleazar, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Kadiff Kirwan and Academy Award-nominee Jonathan Pryce. Meanwhile, season four will welcome new cast members SAG Winner Hugo Weaving, BAFTA winner Joanna Scanlan, IFTA winner Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke and James Callis.

“Slow Horses” is produced for Apple TV+ by See-Saw Films and adapted for television by Will Smith (“Veep”). Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Jane Robertson, Julian Stevens, Douglas Urbanski, Gail Mutrux, Graham Yost and Will Smith serve as executive producers on the series. The series’ fourth season is directed by Adam Randall (I See You, iBoy).

The first episode of season four will debut globally on Wednesday, September 4, followed by one new episode weekly, every Wednesday through October 9, on Apple TV+. Fans can refresh their memories with the first three seasons that are now streaming worldwide on Apple TV+. Additionally, Apple TV+ previously announced a fifth season that will be adapted from the fifth novel, “London Rules.”
