In brief: Argentinian writer-director Diego Rafecas has just tapped the star of NCB’s Hannibal, Mads Mikkelsen for his up-coming feature, First Law.
Set in the jungles of Argentina, two brothers, one under the wing of a shaman and another working for a corrupt corporation, are forced choose where their loyalties lie when their ancestral home faces annihilation.
Based on a true story, First Law will also star Armand Assante and Oscar nominated Adriana Barraza, and will be produced by Zazen Producciones.
Stealth Media Group will be handling international sales for the film and will be screening footage of First Law to buyers at the European Film Market in Berlin. Stealth hope to be able to screen the finished product at the next Cannes film festival.
