Lock-In Drop New Single/Statement of Intent, ‘Against The World’ & Prepare To Conquer Dingwalls

2024 was a year of significant strides for Lock-In. Sold-out headline tours, BBC Introducing support, and a show-stopping performance at Truck Festival (where frontman Benjy Leak was famously crowd-surfed throughout their set) laid the groundwork for an even bigger 2025. And today, the band kicks off the year with two major announcements: the release of their exhilarating new single, “Against The World,” and their biggest headline show to date at London’s iconic Dingwalls on May 17th.

“Against The World” is a statement of intent. Lock-In confidently proclaim it their best track yet, and one listen confirms their belief. Bursting with sun-soaked grooves, sparkling guitars reminiscent of Bombay Bicycle Club and Foals, and an anthemic indie-pop hook, the song is an infectious celebration of ambition and the power of dreams. Benjy’s charismatic vocals deliver a message of unwavering belief in oneself, urging listeners to dare to dream big despite any obstacles.

“This is our message: Dream big, keep believing, and stride forward,” explains Benjy. “We have a strong belief in fate and the power of manifestation, and we want that to resonate through our music. We aimed to create something that everyone can enjoy – something to dance to and jump around with. It’s us against the world, together.”

“Against The World” is the first taste of Lock-In’s recent sessions with producer Max Marlow (Declan McKenna, Snow Patrol), and more new music is on the horizon.

The Dingwalls show marks a significant milestone for Lock-In, following sold-out performances at Water Rats, Omeara, The Garage, and Lafayette. With pre-sale tickets already snapped up, Dingwalls is expected to sell out swiftly. Limited tickets are still available here.

Lock-In consistently bring irresistible energy and eye-catching stage antics to their live shows, whether it’s at major festivals like Isle of Wight and Truck or supporting acts like The K’s, Rum Jungle, Planet, The Twang, The Lilacs, Komparrison, and Spangled, or even touring Germany with The Terrys.

Lock-In are ready to amplify their ascent. “Against The World” is a powerful statement of their ambition, and their upcoming Dingwalls show promises to be a defining moment in their journey so be sure to keep to to date with all their latest news online:
