Following the buzz generated during its World Premiere at this year’s Panic Fest in Kansas City MO, the Tubi Original horror feature Bury The Bride releases in North America today, April 21, 2023.
Directed by singer, record producer, and director Spider One (Allegoria), from a script he co-wrote with one of the film’s lead players Krsy Fox (Allegoria), Bury The Bride follows a group of friends who head of to celebrate bride-to-be June’s bachelorette party. To their misfortune, the celebrations take a deadly turn when June’s ruthless fiancé and his backwoods friends crash the festivities. What follows becomes a living nightmare of unholy proportions as June, her sister Sadie and their closest friends fight for their lives and exact revenge on the ones who don’t survive the night.
The film also stars Scout Taylor-Compton (Rob Zombie’s Halloween saga), Dylan Rourke (“In the Vault”), Lyndsi LaRose (Ant-Man), Chaz Bono (“American Horror Story,” Reborn), Katie Ryan, Rachel Brunner, Cameron Cowperthwaite and Adam Marcinowski and is produced by Krsy Fox & Spider One’s OneFox Productions banner, Chaz Bono, Ian Hoge and Andy Patch.
In anticipation of Bury The Bride launching on Tubi on Friday 21 April (and another screening at the Salem Horror Film Fest on 22 April), CinemaChords sat down with Chaz Bono who revealed what attracted him to this specific blend of horror tropes and working with a cast and crew he had absolute faith in.
