Epic Pictures Acquires Rights for Supernatural Thriller ‘Another’

After going viral with the latest entry in the V/H/S found footage horror franchise, Epic Pictures Group has snapped up international rights to the supernatural thriller Another, the debut feature from photographer, filmmaker, writer and musician Jason Bognacki.

Adapted from a short film and described as a Giallo-Hammer crossbreed, Paulie Rojas stars as beautiful young Jordyn who discovers she may have an evil twin which results in her questioning her own sanity and reality itself. Rojas stars alongside Maria Olsen, Lillian Pennypacker, Nancy Wolfe and David Landry.

Epic Pictures CEO, Patrick Ewals is clearly delighted with the addition to their roster, commenting “From the moment I first saw Another, I was struck by its haunting and captivating story.”

Epic Pictures co-founder, Shaked Berenson also shared his excitement at “working with the incredibly talented director, Jason Bognacki who will definitely have a long career ahead of him.”

Other than V/H/S Viral, which Magnolia will distribute later this year, the Epic Pictures sales roster includes the comedy horror Zombeavers, the rom-com Who Gets The Dog? and the Anthony Fabian-directed drama Louder Than Words.

We’ll leave you with the trailer for Another. Let us know what you make of it.

Synopsis:

Compelled by the possibility that she could have a dark twin, Jordyn questions her own sanity and reality itself. Jordyn’s curiosity pulls her into a dark underworld of demonic possession, desire and extreme indulgences churning a dead witch’s brew that tears her very soul apart.
