‘Elysium’ Broken Down in Video and Posters

foto-matt-damon-en-elysium-3-089

With just a month to go before Matt Damon saves the world in Elysium we decided to compile the latest posters, featurettes and a newly released clip from the upcoming sci-fi thriller from Distric 9 director, Neill Blomkamp.

Said clip is the very first to be released and shows a much lighter side to the film compared to what we’ve witnessed in trailers released so far. Here we find Damon in hard discussions with an automated Border Agent and it certainly gives a very District 9 tone getting is even more excited than we already were.

Elysium hits UK cinemas on the 21st August and stars Matt Damon, Jodie Foster, Sharlto Copley, William Fichtner, Alice Braga and Diego Luna.

‘I Spit On Your Grave 2’ First Trailer

I-SPIT-ON-YOUR-GRAVE-2

Whilst Anchor Bay Entertainment tend to steer clear of sequel territory they clearly felt that 2010’s rape/revenge remake I Spit On Your Grave (grossing only $570,000 worldwide) was desperately shouting out for a sequel.

None of the original cast will reprise their roles in this direct-to-DVD fare although the original helmer, Steven R. Monroe is intent on exploring further ways to terrorise a female lead and have her take care of all the men who made her suffer. Rather than having to deal with a bunch of rednecks this time the leading lady, played by  Jemma Dallender, will take on a group of photographers when a photo shoot gets just a tad out of hand.

I Spit On Your Grave 2 will receive its UK premiere at the Film4 Frightfest in London next month whilst the UK DVD release date is yet to be announced.

We’ll leave you with the trailer below.
