Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2024 – Batch 27

Another week sees us return with a wealth of new releases, which we hope you willbe spinning on repeat as much as we have been doing over the last few days. The sheer abundance of fantastic new music released this week has been as overwhelming as ever, and we truly value your recommendations and submissions for our weekly ‘Noteworthy Nods’ playlist.

Highlights from last week included brand new material from the likes of of Shed SevenThe SherlocksThe ClauseStanleysNieve EllaSkylightsPentire and The Amazons (which you can still catch up with here) whilst this week comes packing amazing new tunes from the likes of The Barratts, BERRIES, Balancing Act, Razorlight and The Montagues. We’re also delighted to finally be able to say we’ve included a brand new track from The Bluetones – their first new music in 14 years. And there’s also a new track from Coldplay, a track whose relegation to the “Full Moon” edition of their brand new LP rather than rather than appearing on the standard version is truly puzzling because it ranks up there with some of the band’s greatest classics.

As always, we’re all about getting the word out, especially when it comes to rising bands who appreciate, and deserve, all the support they can get, so you’d be doing them all a big favor by showing your support for the music you’ve been enjoying on our lists by sending them your love on social media.

After all, a tweet, an Instagram post, or even just a retweet doesn’t cost a penny and goes a long way to helping musicians out. We’re also always more than grateful for any suggestions/recommendations our readers might have which we’d love for you to share with us over on InstagramFacebook, or Twitter. You can also contact Howard Gorman directly on Twitter here where his DM door is always open for any recommendations.

Champions of new music, lend me your ears! This part’s for you. Show some love for fresh tunes and rising stars by hitting those share buttons. Toss some likes. Spread the word. You know the drill. A little social media boost goes a long way for up-and-comers. And hey, got suggestions? We’re all ears and we’d love to hear from you over on InstagramFacebook, or Twitter. You can also contact me directly on Twitter here where my DM door is always wide open.

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes weekly videocast interviews featuring musical talent we hope are either already or, about to become your new favorite artists. You can watch/rewatch all previous episodes via the video playlist (here) featuring the likes of Shed SevenThe SherlocksBlitz VegaThe ClauseStanleysCastTurin BrakesEmbraceRed Rum ClubThe K’sThe Slow Readers ClubShambolicsThe Howl & The Hum, and many more.
