As the weekend approaches, this is the perfect moment to showcase another selection of recently released music, as brought to our attention either by streaming services or our loyal readers. We are always grateful for the invaluable input from our readers who ultimately help us find the most noteworthy new releases that end up making our our weekly playlist.
In last week’s edition, the Noteworthy Nods section was dedicated to the top 20 songs of the year thus far. In today’s article, we get back to business as usual with a selection of choice picks from the last couple of weeks; and there have been A LOT to choose from. So, the following list includes a diverse array of music from both emerging and established artists, including a very warmly welomed comeback from The Lathums, another majestically orchestrated new single from Shed Seven from their upcoming album, Liquid Gold, and brand new belters from the likes of The Howl & The Hum (with their sophomore album Same Mistake Twice will be released on 6 September), 86TVs (with a self-titled debut album out on 2 August), Pioneers and SAMSARA.
