Brand-New Bangers: Noteworthy Nods 2023 – Batch 13

And here we are again with yet another weekly round-up of our favourite new music releases that have been blasting on the office speakers over and over again this past week; what we refer to as “Noteworthy Nods” around these parts.

Highlights from last week included tracks from artists such as 32 tens, Galaxy Thief, Rosellas, The Kairos, The Katuns, and My Life Story (which you can still check out over here) and today’s playlist features brand new releases from the likes of Extranauts, Ian Brown, Casino Club, Heavenward, Pylon Poets, Vivas and Eurekas.

As always, we can’t emphasise enough how important it is for us to spread a bit of additional buzz around emerging artists, we would ask you to kindly share your love for anything that catches your ears in this section of the CinemaChords. All it takes is a few seconds to spread the word and it won’t cost you a penny, but is worth it’s weight in gold to all the new artists out there. And please don’t stop those recommendations coming via  InstagramFacebook, or Twitter. You can also contact Howard Gorman, who curates CinemaChords’ Nods, directly on Twitter &/or Instagram.

With that preamble out of the way, all that’s left to do is to leave you all to enjoy what you came here for: Batch 13 of this year’s Noteworthy Nods:

Aside from the aforementioned track recommendations, our Noteworthy section includes weekly videocast interviews featuring musical talent we hope are either already or, about to become your new favorite artists. You can watch/rewatch all previous episodes via the video playlist below featuring the likes of My Life Story, The Kairos, Turin BrakesEmbraceThe SherlocksStanleys, and many more.

As always, don’t be a stranger! Please send any recommendations or track submissions to us over on Twitter and Instagram. We look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy the tracks we’ve picked out for you this week.
