The current trend of directors honing their skills and moving over to TV has its caught its latest addition as Alfonso Cuarón revealed the first trailer at Comic-Con 2013 for co-created show, Believe, which is due to be aired on NBC later this year.

The show revolves around Bo, an orphaned ten year old girl with supernatural powers. She is protected by a group called the ‘True Believers’ from a secretive faction that want her powers for their personal gain.

The opening of the trailer is taken from the pilot episode, which is directed by Cuarón, and in spectacular style. This first glimpse of Believe reveals its dark nature in what could be the one of the shows of 2013/14.

Cuarón premiered the trailer alongside showing off new footage from his other project, the feature film Gravity, starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock.
